The pastor makes an alter call,
Silence and a drum roll,
The a man strolls to the front,
Slowly like he doesn't want,
A closer look at his face,
I have seen him at another place,
It was a queue somewhere,
I really wonder where......

It was at the line,
At the VCT line,
He was very restless,
Looked like he had a weakness,
I hope everything is fine,
He grabs the priest's wine,
Downs it all in a swipe,
Tears roll, no wipe......

He says he has a confession,
He asks for permission,
To explain in perversion,
He is ready for submission,
Everyone becomes alert,
We can hear the beats of his heart,
He produces a list,
Every person he names faints....

Finally he also collapses,
He is dead,
Where he stood as a newly wed,
Now the time lapses,
Nobody moves,
Silence reigns,
Yet another sad ending,
In a church setting......

We need grace,
Sufficient grace
Somebody say Amen!!!

Story for another Day

When you get high,
Then you wonder why,
Every call is a lie,
The cold makes you sigh,
It was a night so fly,
How did the allure die?

What did the lady say,
Leave me if you can't pay,
That's where it went astray,
You turned all gray,
It cannot be told today,
Its a Story for another Day!

Bad Moments

When I am not there,
All withdrawn,
Down,
Agony,
Stress,
Sad.

When you hack my online profile,
You get nothing interesting,
You bury your face,
In your cold hands,
Vanity,
Frustration.

When the baby cries,
It echoes around the house,
You don't want to wake up,
Numbness,
Dazed,
Confused.

When you don't want to go to work,
You keep snoozing another 5 minutes,
Alarm rings again,
Sleepy annoyance,
Unfocused,
Boring.

When you pay your last coin,
Then you still have two bills unpaid,
Inflation,
Poverty,
Emptiness,
BAD!!

Happy Birthday

I could be the ONLY man
or the LONELY man
Cakes could be COSTLY man
Flowers would be FROSTY man
But I will Say this BOLDLY man
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DEAR!

Its All Gone

It's all gone,

That special feeling,
The weak knee thing,
The tight stomach feeling,
The heartbeat skipping,
The secret smiling,
The wishful thinking,
The heart dancing.

I stopped missing,
The deep kissing,
I prefer freezing,
Alone while boozing.

Now when you call me,
I answer for the sake,
Because you hurt me,
So bad for your sake.

We will still be friends,
But it will never glow again,
You cut the threads,
So stop trying in vain.

It's all gone.

Heaven has Feeling

When heaven sheds a tear,
I grab my umbrella,
When heaven spreads its warmth,
I bask in the sun.

When heaven gets angry,
I shudder at the lightning,
When heaven just had a great day,
I enjoy its smile the moon.

When heaven wakes up happy,
I marvel at the clear sky,
When heaven is in an artsy mood,
I enjoy the clouds and their linings.

When heaven is celebrating,
I love watching the stars twinkle,
When heaven whistles,
I spread my arms and savor the wind.

And when heaven is gloomy,
The entire world is dark,
When heaven decides to do magic,
We all watch the eclipse.

Heaven must be the best place to live!

I Would Love TO

It's not that I don't love you,
I would want to have you,
I have already understood you,
But I don't wonna hurt you.

The way you say,
The words you say,
Every other day,
You want to have your way,
But can I really stay?
What if I delay?
Would you wait for me?
Can our future be?
Why can't I see?

I am all human,
To you a perfect man,
To me just another man,
I don't know if I can.

What is this that you see?
Make me also see,
Why can't we just be friends?
Why do you tear when I say friends?

I know you love me,
But it doesn't feel right,
The failure in me,
Might dim this love light,
Will you stand by me,
When things get tight,
Will you stomach me,
When I start a fight,
Will you?

I would love to love you,
I would hate to lose you,
All I can say to you,
Is - I WOULD LOVE TO!

A Revolution

It is the pain of the youth,
That fuels the anger,
The anger that causes uproar,
Uproar in the quest of a revolution.

When you oppress the youth,
They will stand by the truth,
The masses will stand,
And fight hand in hand.

The lack of jobs,
Scares like time bombs,
The poor infrastructure,
An economic puncture.

While the old bask,
Amassing wealth till dusk,
The youth bask,
At jobless corners till dusk.

The old drive big cars,
The young just wish,
They just get scars,
In attempts to materialize their wish.

A time will come,
When they will take no more,
They will want a solution,
And it will be a REVOLUTION.

Lost Trust

Trust a politician to get votes from citizens then forget about them,
Trust a politician to say he supports something today and to say he doesn't tomorrow,
Trust a politician when he heads a civil society and he will say the same is bad when he gets to parliament,
Trust a politician to call for mass action then disappear and leave the crowd.

Trust a lady to give you chocolate for a gift and end up eating a bigger chunk of the same,
Trust a lady to ask you to buy her lunch then she eats a quarter and leaves the rest,
Trust a lady enough to send her airtime and she will not call to say thank you after you send.
Trust a lady to say she loves your mother when you are dating and to call your mother a dog after you marry her.

Im just saying.

Later

People talk of later,
That is much greater,
But the later,
Is never clear.

One thing about later,
That is always clear,
Is Grey hair,
And lots of despair.

All of us can't be rich,
There would be no one to fish,
But you can still fish
and get rich.

Work for a later,
That will impress a narrator,
Work for a later,
That will help the younger.

What will your later look like?
Will it prick with Spike?
Will it be read to many on Mike?

A Dog's Social Life

It was in high school,
When I learned playing pool,
With my friends from school,
Being together felt cool.

Then we chose subjects,
Computer studies was for intellects,
They started computer projects,
The rest felt like rejects.

But we were friends,
So the showed us computer trades,
We opened emails,
We enjoyed the forwards.

When we finished school,
We no longer played pool,
But we kept emailing,
With time we lost touch.

Most times were spent,
Behind computer screens,
Friendship was laid to rest,
We explored the virtual greens.

Then came social network,
Friendship started coming back,
This time in pokes,
Tags, comments and in-boxes.

The we followed each other,
We got tagged and became buddies,
Friendship was good 2go,
But this too was for a season.

We blocked and reported friends,
We invited and followed strangers,
We became hacking victims,
We also became internet addicts.

Our pool skills died,
High school friends lost touch,
We opted out of social network,
There were no more emails coming,

Now it's just me,
Beside me is a dead computer,
A victim of a virus attack,
The son of a shared file.

Just like a dog pees on trees,
On its way to stray,
So have I peed on my social trees,
I have gone astray.

Like a dog sleeping on its stomach,
With its face deep in its paws,
Hiding the shame of being an outcast,
Reeling from the fangs of lonely feelings.

So do I lie on my laptop mat,
Hiding my face behind the blank screen,
I am also a social outcast,
All this time, I thought I was right,

I was driving to A Dog's Social Life!

Shit on My Windscreen

The bird eats elsewhere,
But it shits anywhere,
While I park somewhere,
It decides to shit there.

Shit on my windscreen,
Makes my face lose the grin,
They should reduce the parking fee,
To cater for the bird's pee.

I have to wash the car twice a day,
This is really squeezing my pay,
And the government say,
It is a brighter day.

With shit on my windscreen??
