Success Come By

The bitter pill,
Is the fastest cure.

Plan for the future,
If you want your later,
To be much greater,
Save for later.

It is hard to be a man,
You can imagine how it is,
Being a successful man,
But that's the way life is.

Success never comes,
Packed with a fork and cutter,
Success always comes,
Disguised in a bin of litter.

Kiss goodbye,
The attitude of ignorance.

They say that,
Doctored results,
Were sick in the first place.

A successful man knows,
It's no need doctoring,
It's better monitoring,
It's all in success laws.

Getting rich isn't easy,
The extra mile is the longest.

But if you are really determined,
You eventually watch Success Come By!

Mediocre and Insignificant

Tell me,
Of what good,
Is a single grain of rice,
For a man who hasn't eaten in 3 days,

Of what good,
Is a single drop of water,
For a thirsty camel in the desert,

Of what good,
Is a single penny,
For a man who has a wife and children,

Of what good,
Is a single principled politician,
In a house full of corrupt representatives,

Of what good,
Is a group of demonstrators,
Marching on as the traitors look on,

Tell me,
Isn't many the way to go,

Don't they say, The majority wins,
Don't they say, Unity is strength,

Isn't it time we united,

Isn't it time we refused,
To eat a grain of rice while we can get full plates,
To make our camels sip while they can drink to fill,
To take pennies for wages while we can get the bills,
To vote in crooks while we have men of principle,
To demonstrate while there are traitors watching,

It's time we got rid of Mediocrity and Insignificance.

Funny World

Funny how love feelings hit you,
Even when you promise yourself not to,
Funny how married men fall for other women,
Even when in their homes they are fed up with 'women'.

Funny how beer costs too much,
Then its effects get ugly as much,
Funny how surfing looks enjoyable.
Then u realize how the time you lost would have been profitable.

Funny how people look at others,
Then they realize that they have the same characters,
Funny how reading this poem gets into my nerves,
Then I realize that it just ended.

It's a Funny World!

Standing the Test

When the clock ticks,
I know what the crowd thinks,
If i can stand the test of time,
But I am a man of all time.

Most are a cut above the rest,
I am a cut above the best,
I can stand any test,
Owe it to my being best.

In this field,
I will get a huge yield,
My focus won't tilt,
My ambition won't wilt.

I continue to thrill,
To strengthen the frail,
Because it is God's will,
I will Stand the Test.

Hic! Hic! Vodka

My sincere love of Vodka,
I think its the best liquor,

Not that I am much of a drinker,
But is it an issue anyway? Winker.

The poison behind my stagger,
The reason why i speak slur,

At times I can create such a fuss,
It's the smart stuff in my glass,

I would love gin and whiskey,
But that more of risky,

My liver gets the best,
Other sots drink the rest.

At least now that I can still stand.
Vodka gets you standing, although at times horizontally.

I Love my Vodka. Hic!

Im Elated

A little calf struggles onto its feet minutes after birth,
A young human struggles to stand a year after birth,
Such are the wonders of the earth.

As I see my daughter struggle to hold her neck up,
I feel courage rising within me high up,
I don't want to talk but I can no longer shut up,
I continue to encourage her to rise up.

Every sound she makes,
Too much energy it takes,
But it a closer step she takes,
To talking one day without mistakes.

Every morning when she opens her eyes, I'm Elated!

I Wonder Father

This poem is for my mother and my brother,
The only family that I have,
The people with whom I share family love.

In my entire life,
I never had a man to emulate,
I never had someone to look up for advice,
No one ever started telling me something with the words, "Son, one day you will..."
Nobody,
Nobody ever came to visit me to school spotting a beard and holding a newspaper,
Nobody ever told me to face this world like a man,
Mother never knew these things,
There I was,
Out in the world,
Running up and down,
Making mistakes,
That I am paying for up to now,
Because I never had a map,
I don't blame you father,
I don't hate you either,
I just wonder,
Why did you have to leave us with mother?
Would you want me to becomes a father like you?
I just wonder Father,
I really wonder.

The Punchline of Thieves

The punchline is all evident on my head,
How your blow met with my head,
It is the reason why my eye is red,
If I never got help, Now I would be dead.

It is people like you,
Who make insecurity true,
It is people like you,
Who leave us wondering what to do.

If you don't slay, you cripple,
Why don't you live your lives simple,
You children of the evil,
What do you ask innocent people?

Is it a must that you drink cheap wine?
Is it a must that you steal all the time?
Is it a must that you leave people with a PUNCHLINE?

Tears and Smiles

These tears,
These tears that well my eyes,
These tears that flow when I cry,
These tears that I shed when I am angry,
These tears that are triggered by my agony,
These tears that I shed every day,
These tears will dry one day,
These tears will be no more,
These tears will be replaced by a smile.

A smile,
A smile that will be a sign of joy,
A smile that will end my cry,
A smile that will carry away my agony,
A smile that will be on my face every day,
A smile will be on my face one day,
A smile will be all I afford and more,
A smile it will be forever.

Take Sometime

Take sometime to reflect on your life,
It's yours after all,
Take sometime to listen to others,
You too will need an ear sometime,
Take sometime to read a blog,
You will need traffic on yours,
Take sometime to comment on a status,
You also need appreciation once in a while.

Take sometime to do charity,
Its a way of appreciating what God has given you,
Take sometime to treat a lady,
You could lift up her spirits forever,
Take sometime to attend an event,
You will want people at your wedding or funeral,
Take sometime to reply a message,
You will want someone to answer when you call 911.

Visitor Who Came to Stay

You were the visitor,
Who asked for a cup of water,
You asked for a food platter,
We gave you visitor.

You slept at our place,
We are a kind race,
All people we embrace,
We gave you some space.

Days went by,
You started to lie,
You wanted to stay,
We began to pray.

You won my heart,
Now leaving was hard,
We dint want to part,
Another story starts.

The visitor who came to stay....

Better Loving

When you move on,
You want to look on,
Another side of,
Life after love and,
Better life for that matter.

You hope that,
You will land on,
Another planet of,
Love that never ends with,
Heartbreaks and heartaches.

You think of,
Prince charming who,
Will kiss you when,
You really need it,
You hope for,
BETTER LOVING!

A Toast

A toast,
To the coast,
The men in coats,
The owners of oats,
They came with boats,
To share this great toast.

A toast,
Along with roast,
To them that boast,
They eat the most,
They came composed,
To share this great toast.

A toast to all!!

Swimming

Swimming,

In a sea of naughty thoughts,
In an ocean of erotic dots,
In a river of sexy hots,
In a stream of sorts,
In a pool of tots,
In pots,
Pots of scenic bodies,
Bodies of curvy ladies,
Ladies of sexy panties,
Panties of mysteries,
Mysteries of the nights,
Nights of the lights,
Lights bright,
Only when swimming.

My Colorful Dream

I dream of a blue and violet world,
Filled with an aura of gold and green pounds,
I'd like to swim in the white ponds,
and to own a violet magic stick.

I fear the evil dark world,
The one of black and darkness surround,
The one of a red frown,
Along with a bloody crown.

When I wake up give me white coffee.

45 Dollars

I have this side hustle,
I'm only doing it today and tomorrow,
The tools I had to borrow,
I don't like working the furrow,
But it is such a sorrow,
That instructions I have to follow,
Or else in trouble I will wallow,
It's for a wage of 45 dollars.

I don't like French fries,
I also hate a spice of curries,
I would rather have noodles,
Or some milk mashed flakes,
But everyday I feed on fries,
I am living a life of wishes,
It's all I can afford nowadays,
For a wage of 45 dollars.

I would love to take her out,
Walk in the woods around and about,
Sit in the park and watch the flowers sprout,
I would love to make her shout,
While I have paid for her camel mount,
I wanted to discuss money, She asked, "What about?"
Afford all that for her......., I doubt,
For a wage of 45 DOLLARS??

I Just Thought

I just don't follow, I follow the just,
I won't die to love you, It's my love for you that will never die,
I don't hate the drink, I drink the hate away,
I can't kiss a dragon, I just drag on the kiss,
I don't like food for thought, I think for food.

Bad is Relative

There are no bad lawyers,
They are just not paid enough,
There are no bad teachers,
They were just born tough,
There are no quack doctors,
It is some bodies that are so rough.

Not every policeman is corrupt,
It depends with who you choose to give,
Not every judge is mean,
It depends with the kind of thief,
Not every boss is harsh,
It depends with your hearing and applying ability.

Not every mother is good,
There could be no female prisons,
Not every wife is faithful,
But sharing your problems halves them,
Not every child is a genius,
Offices for the genius will need cleaning.

There is not a bad poem either,
Because BAD is RELATIVE!!

Tatoo in the Eye

The saddest day of his life,
With pain sharper than a knife,
He watched his wife,
Give herself to another man,
He wanted to but he could not run,
It was too hard to discern.

Clutching onto the grill of the window,
He felt his heart sink so low,
So much that he did not know,
He watched his wife enjoy,
The man used her like his toy,
All they did to the him was annoy.

As the man squeezed her in his arms,
His spine felt shiver alarms,
He felt the sting of all the qualms,
As his wife let out a moan,
He only managed a silent painful groan,
He felt numb from his head to the zone.

The sweet words that his wife said,
The sweet nothings the man replied,
The sad fact that his marriage had died,
The actions were all etched in his brain,
He couldn't clear his thoughts train,
His mind was all wet from the sinful rain.

He wanted to shout and stop it,
But he was too weak to do it,
All he did was watch all of it,
He stood still like a fly,
He did not cry,
It felt like a TATOO IN THE EYE!

Atrocities

It is so sad,
That we disregard,
The fathers of our land,
The people who fought hard,
To redeem our land.

We have erected buildings,
On the graves of our freedom fighters,
We excavate their remains,
We leave them uncovered,
Can we get worse?

Our great grandmothers,
Who languished in prison,
The ones who bore our mothers,
By the roadside and in settler farms,
We have abandoned them.

The marshals of the time,
Have not a single dime,
They get poorer with time,
When they die,
Their souls, with pain, sublime.

They sold their small pieces of land,
Their families can't secure a grave,
They are left unclaimed in morgues,
They are disposed in a mass grave,
Buried by a government excavator.

While the remaining few limp,
With one leg since they lost the other,
Fighting for our land,
We zoom past with our sleek cars,
We cover them with clouds of dust.

Whatever happened to humanity,
Whatever happened to patriotism,
To hell with democracies,
All promises have become fallacies,
We will pay for these ATROCITIES!!

Don't Soil Yourself, Woman

From the beginning,
Eve was chosen to be man's company,
Sarah was a helper,
Of the most blessed man Abraham,
Esther saved her race,
Mary gave birth to Jesus,
All these women,
Bore seeds of greatness.

Lot's wife defied,
She solidified,
Delilah got Samson Lured,
She triggered destruction,
God blesses a woman,
Who heeds his word,
Women who want greatness,
Learn from the word.

Don't Soil Yourself, Woman

The Sandwich Generation

The elite of the nation,
The recent conception,
The men to steer the nation,
The prime age of creation.

They have a vision,
Each in their profession,
To bridge the poverty division,
To steer the nation to fruition.

They lead congregations,
Regardless of the religions,
They have a mission,
Project development and completion.

They make rational decisions,
They have learned from the past,
They are the people to trust,
For the first world thrust.

Very humble and focused,
The young and aged are their dependants,
They know success is constant,
Because they always work hard.

It's time for The Sandwich Generation!

Words of Wisdom

Keep your doors open,
Opportunities won't have to knock,
Life is a beast,
Look for the beauty within.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Has been lying all this while,
Never jump into a sea of conclusion,
Swim by the shores until you collect enough shells of fact.

© Mr. Reality Check.

Emptiness is Form, Emptiness is Form.

Emptiness is form,
When life gets hopeless,
Many get senseless,
But that is the time,
To make juice from lime,
Surviving in nothingness,
Proves that emptiness,
Gives the best form.

Form is emptiness,
When you are clueless,
Rich and senseless,
You never have time,
When you have the form,
You have everything,
Then you lose everything,
and back to Emptiness.

Thus:

Emptiness is form and form is emptiness.

I Think I am in Love

All this twitching,
Wishful thinking,
Day dreaming,
Reminiscing,
My feelings,
My breathing,
My pacing,
Blood rushing.

My pulse is high,
My wish is sly,
My mouth dry,
My eyes cry,
Days go by,
You don't come by,
I wonder why,
Why lie?

I think,
I am weak,
I tick,
When you speak,
I freak,
Come quick,
We link,
I think,
I'm in Love!

The Love Epitaph

I can recall with a smile,
How they started out well,
Coffee dates and night outs,
The signs of love sprouts,
I attended their wedding,
Good life was just starting.

A year later,
Issues proved greater,
Than the love between them,
What had come over them?
Bad breath and affairs for the man,
Gossip and dirt for the woman.

Two years later,
It was all clear,
A decade wouldn't be over,
While they were still together,
The man was fed up,
The woman was fired up.

The woman leaked his secret,
That he made the bed wet,
The man found her red handed,
With another man in bed,
They decided to leave it at that,
Life finally put them apart.

The third year was a start,
Of living life apart,
He decided to write a book,
She also wrote a book,
Dedicated to the love they had,
They described how it went bad.

Different publishers,
Different editors,
The man finished first,
The woman was always last,
They launched on the same day,
Both books bore the title, THE LOVE EPITAPH!

The Drunken Policeman

His favorite name is--Hic,
His mother called him--Vic,
At work he is Corporal--Vic,
A number of things make him sick,
First, he thinks his wife is thick,
Second, The inspector calls him a prick,
Why don't the two ever think?
He thinks.

He works for the traffic department,
He can always sneak to the bar segment,
Too much has changed his skin pigment,
What he knows best is bad treatment,
He will issue tickets with excitement,
I wonder if he will stand his punishment,
When a victim will tell the graft department,
Will he attend his hearing with excitement?

In the evening he boasts the pub down,
None but him holds the imbibing crown,
He sits on the bar stool throne,
He can drink up to dawn,
He turns all the alcohol stones,
His jalopy of a car hits all stones,
He says it knows its way home,
From the look of things,
Both the car and the owner are on the way home,
His epitaph will be his last crown,
How about, THE DRUNKEN POLICEMAN!!

Wedding Festival

Wedding Bells,
Bigger than jingle bells,
Nice fragrance and smells,
The nice background music tells,
Two have just exchanged bands,
They have stopped being love birds,
Now they are husband and wife.

The sunlit air and the floral decoration,
The great cake with its colorful decoration,
The pretty maids and their beautiful dresses,
The beautiful women and their musical dances,
The great crowd with all the happy faces,
The bridal gown and the expensive laces,
What more could a man ask for?

Call it the wedding festival,
Where else did they come with so many cars?
Where else did we experience such hospitality?
Where else did we eat so much rice?
Hail all and salute the just married,
We are all happy and overjoyed,
For your great WEDDING FESTIVAL.

Congratulations!!

On Her Wedding Day

If its turquoise, please let it be,
If its royal Fuchsia, let it be,
It is her biggest day after her birthday,
It's the least you can do on her wedding day,
Making it perfect is a commandment,
She is the base of your home establishment,
The prime member of the marriage coalition,
The commissioner of the home division,
The chief of your house location.

She gives your home an identity,
Soon she will show you the power of multiply,
Many say that men don't cry,
What they don't say is that we would like to cry,
But we have to get the right shoulder,
Then we can cry a river,
Mrs. bride, the ball is on your court,
Start by relieving off his coat,
Finish by serving a great pot.

For the gentleman,
A reason to get home early,
A reason to hold the head high,
A reason to carry your shoulders high,
From that corner to that other corner,
We have been your guests today,
You have treated us to satisfaction,
We have all witnessed,
You have done it perfect.
On Her Wedding Day!

Congratulations!!

Call Me Now

It was only yesterday,
We lay on the hay,
I was loving your spray,
I enjoyed all the play,
I dint want to get home,
But eventually the time came,
You said you will call,
You said you could see my heart,
Even when we were distant,
I knew you would be calling,
I held onto my phone waiting,
Minute after minute, counting,
On my forehead, I was sweating,
On my armrest, I was tapping,
The anxiety of a hen,
Before it lays an egg.

Mid-morning and nothing yet,
My shirt is getting wet,
My anxiety comes with profuse sweat,
My handkerchief is also wet,
I just hope you did not lie,
If you don't call I'm going to die,
But what is taking you so long,
I want to have someone to belong,
Time is running out fast,
You are slowly loosing my trust,
Soon it will be noon,
I have decided to go online,
I am starting to whine,
My patience is very thin,
Now my feelings are on the line,
Don't you think it is time?

Noon came and went,
And not even a text,
I am wondering what next,
Or should I text,
I don't wanna look desperate,
Options are infinite,
But none is right,
I have lost appetite,
I can't do anything right,
A cigar is all I can light,
Even a line I can't write,
Evening is drawing closer,
Reality is getting clearer,
I am seeing a liar,
What do I do now?
If you can really see my heart, CALL ME NOW!!!

My Love Exploit

It's another dawn,
My heart is fearful,
My face is a frown,
My body is painful,
It's about last night,
You came home drunk,
You switched of the lights,
Then you started the spunk,
You called me useless,
Then you beat me senseless.

Now its morning,
I wake up wailing,
I can't stay longer,
I am getting weaker,
I am growing thinner,
I can't let you kill me,
God has plans for me,
You don't deserve me,
I can tell from the way you treat me.

You beat me everyday,
Same script different day,
I married a bully,
I don't deserve pity,
I am filled with fury,
I have to leave today,
I have had enough,
Let all my friends laugh,
I have a life to live,
Now i know this was not love,
It was a love exploit!!

International Love

My Kenyan love,
I have an international dream for you,
My love for you is wider than from Nairobi to Belarus,
In my heart I have more love than a European,
Don't mind the fact that I am all African,
For you I will speak all the romantic Italian,
I will even hit the standards of the Roman,
Talk of an evening dinner like that of the French,
Lacing it with wine from a cellar in Paris,
Food cooked by a chef from Rome.

If you become my one and only,
Our first destination will be Milan in Italy,
Then we could take a vacation to guinea,
Think of the two of us walking in the coast of Azerbaijan,
For you I will be brave enough to go to Afghanistan,
We can go for our honeymoon somewhere in Uzbekistan,
I will take you to the rice fields of Pakistan,
On our way home we could pass by Bujumbura,
We could go for some DJ festival in antananarivo.

Not forgetting our great motherland,
Every weekend we could do road trips to places like turkana,
Sagana and kirinyaga would be good hideouts en-route Mt. Kenya,
From the mountain to the shimba hills in taita then to lake elementaita,
From samburu to nakuru, uasin gishu to chepalungu,
From namanga to malaba, from busia to garissa, and at times to Tanzania.
My international love, let me make your life a roller coaster.

Will you be mine?

Midnight Gaze

My most recent blessing,
Has confused my brain cells,
Now I gaze at the ceiling,
A tear in my eye wells.

Tears of joy are now often,
I can no longer hide my emotions,
When she sneezes I stiffen,
I am conscious of all her motion.

A fruit of my pleasure,
A score of my love,
For me and my dear,
From God with love.

Our daughter Patricia,
An awesome bundle of amazement,
So tiny and tender,
The reason of my excitement.

I want to protect her always,
I want to watch her all the nights,
Fight away mosquito that disturbs her peace,
Ensure that tomorrow gets her in one piece.

At night she gets me insomniac,
She is my all time Craze,
I will be soon celebrating with cognac,
A toast to the cause of my MIDNIGHT GAZE.

Breast Cancer

He was out for pleasure,
Sexual as it could have been,
They had kissed like never,
Now he was jumping into the obscene.

He slid his arm into her blouse,
He cupped the warm breast,
The feeling did not arouse,
He immediately knew that she needed a test.

The lump was as that of his patient,
Some careers just follow you to your personal life,
Why was medical practice so prudent?
He did not want to break the heart of a young life.

But he was as sure as death,
The lump was that of breast cancer,
He couldn't tell Beth,
The thought gave him an ulcer.

He managed to convince her,
To go to the hospital the following day,
She thought it was a fever,
After all her boyfriend her offered to pay.

Her face was green with fear,
She never thought she could get breast cancer,
She couldn't hear what the doctor said next,
She felt she was the one to die next.

She had ignored all the scan campaigns,
Ignorance paid her back with all these pains,
Had she gone for the scan earlier,
Her breast couldn't have left her.

Six months down the line,
She can afford a smile,
And thank God for a treatment gone fine,
Make sure you too maintain your smile.

Go for a breast cancer scan.

The Connection

You are seated,
Right in-front of me,
When you passed my desk,
I couldn't help but notice,
The smell of your expensive perfume,
It made my nostrils open wider,
Your long skirt,
Brushed my arm as you passed,
I can still feel the brush,
Of the soft linen.

Now you turn back,
Your eyes meet with mine,
My heart skips a beat,
My bladder feels full,
This is the fourth time
That you got me staring,
Your nice hair style,
I can't help but fantasize,
My fingers brushing it down,
I can see you smile.

The whole of this week,
Has been like this,
You look back,
Our eyes meet,
You smile again,
I lose focus,
But after class,
you are the first to leave,
Lets make this happen,
Before I'm taken by another!!

The Kiss

It is your kiss,
That leaves me breathless,
It makes me stammer,
It makes me see the light,
Even when it's pitch dark,
It makes me smile,
When I am all alone,
Remembering that kiss,
Makes my body shiver,
My spine shudders,
At the thought,
Of your kiss.

Your lips so soft,
Awesome piece of creation,
Your brilliant face,
Feels like gold in my arms,
As I cuddle your cheeks,
Bringing you closer,
As our noses touch,
My heart leaps,
I close my eyes,
I fear I might go blind,
If I watch the trailer,
Of me kissing an angel,
As our lips touch,
My spirits stir,
Pressing our lips together,
I can't hold my feet together,
I lift one foot high,
To rhyme the climax,
Of our great kiss,
As your lips open,
Welcoming my confused tongue,
It feels like I am entering,
The gates of heaven,
Your saliva,
Sweeter than fine wine,
Your warm mouth,
Makes my mind wander,
I can't tell how long,
My tongue remains jailed,
In the sweetness of your mouth,
If I had a chance,
I'd drown your salivary glands,
And never get quenched,
From my thirst for your love.

Now our lips part,
I can no longer focus,
It's like you cast a spell,
On me to love you forever,
I can just smile,
And mumble nothing,
I am left wishing,
That I could kiss you longer,
My heart beats hard,
Deep down,
A feeling of desire,
A want for more,
I Just adore,
Kissing you my miss.

My love epistle

It is because of you my love,
That I disturb my quill,
Moving it back and forth,
Till I finish writing,
This great epistle,
Just my quill and paper,
To tell you how much,
I value you my dear one.

The quill oozes black,
But my love is all white,
Pure and flawless,
Like snow on the mountains,
What i feel for you,
My quill can only peck,
To tell the whole of it,
I would use more words,
Than the drops of the ocean.

I reminisce that kiss,
You gave me that night,
With the music of the crickets,
Dew settled on our feet,
Cold was not a worry,
The problem was your departure,
Since you left for the city,
I haven't heard from you,
I hope you still love me.

THE OCTOBER MONTH

OCT is great. That's why great creatures have 8 features. Octopuses are impeccable in locomotion and behavior. Don't mention Paul the German Octopussy Prophet. In this Octy month, I have decided to write poems on soul searching issues. I will also shed light on national issues like hunger. It is sad that a woman in our country slaughtered a dog for her children while there was relief food in her village with a controversy of the right person to distribute.

Octy holds great significance to me. It is a prosperous month and it is the month that I bought my first car. I have also decided to change my name to Mr. Reality Check. I love you all. :)

Reality Check

It is the sweet tooth that becomes a pain,
It is the white dress that gets the stain,

It is always the government to blame,
But it is always the people to bear shame,
In a world of excuses so lame,
Who is to blame?

While citizens look upon governments,
Governments look upon international donors,
The people still die due to hunger,
Its time we realized why we suffer,
We cant solve problems by blaming each other,
But we can be keepers of our brothers.

Pregnant

From the time I wake up,
My eyes are pregnant with sleep,
To the road on my way to work,
Pregnant with traffic.

On arrival at the office,
The desk is pregnant with work,
A rush to the bank,
The banking hall is pregnant with queues.

The french fries cafe,
Always pregnant with queues and smoke,
The noisy matatu,
Pregnant with excess passengers.

The boss,
Pregnant with unpaid taxes and illicit affairs,
The youth,
Pregnant with joblessness.

The cabinet is almost bursting seams,
Pregnant with ministers and their assistants,
The parliament exudes flatulence of yet to be discussed bills,
Pregnant with fat cats that embezzle for a living.

The mayor,
Pregnant with land grabbing scandals,
The office of the town clerk,
Pregnant with undone repairs of the city.

The streets,
Pregnant with hawkers and pickpockets,
The city parks,
Pregnant with jobless sots.

Surely,
With all this pregnancy,
The world is not using protection.

Differently Kenya

Kenya,

A land of many faces,
42 tribes and languages,
47 counties under one president,
Fruit of the new constitution precedent.

Unique is Kenya,
From the way it does its polls,
To what the media reports in polls,
To the leaders that are elected to parliament.

Only in Kenya,
Is the media better than the investigation department,
It unravels the scandals and syndicates,
That the intelligence hasn't even thought about.

Only in Kenya,
That the Local government is stronger than the main government,
All the citizens prefer being in the hands of a trained policeman,
That being in the hands of a city council policeman.

A look at Nairobi,
Teargas is quite a common meal every lunch hour,
Hawkers and demonstrators are the main trigger,
As they run and shout seeking their family dinner.

Only in Kenya,
That beer fests occur automatically every weekend,
Panel beaters are the richest mechanics,
They thrive repairing cars from drunkard accidents.

A look at Nairobi,
That there are highway mechanics at midnight,
Not forgetting the thriving sex business,
Girls of the twilight in the streets and secret villas.

Crazy Times

Our country Kenya,
Its time for prayer.

What could a man be thinking?
When they sell human genitalia,
To be used as witchcraft paraphenalia.

What could a man be thinking?
When they send crippled kids to beg,
Making money from people with no legs.

What could a man be thinking?
When they kill for self pleasure,
Drinking human blood like Onyancha.

What could a man be thinking?
When they rape an 80 year old Grandmother,
Then they defile her 8 year old granddaughter.

What could a woman be thinking?
Stealing a newborn from an innocent mother,
Do they know the pain of becoming a mother?

Our country Kenya,
Its time for prayer.

Real Leaders

A wise leader knows,
That to get the votes,
You have to win the hearts,
Hearts of people not rats,
No polluting environs,
With posters on all walls,
No disturbing eardrums,
With loud systems and drums,
Drumming support means,
Humbling down and requesting,
With a low tone,
Just loud enough to pass the message.

Wise leaders consider,
The citizens and their future,
They seek to help the poor,
They do not spread a rumor,
They dont boast of successes,
They join hands with the masses,
They do not impress with big cars,
Citizens are impressed more,
By heroes with victory scars,
Heroes who were injured fighting,
For the rights of the citizens,
Those are real leaders.

Wise politicians dont get dirty,
They seek to end corruption,
They dont work with people they know,
They like it when all people grow,
Their speeches are weighty with passion,
Not to win and sit in the top echelon,
But to ensure that the poor get incomes,
To ensure that the homeless get homes,
To cloth the clothless and feed the hungry,
They dont need to know you to help you,
They just need you to present your problem,
These are real politicians not social problems.

We Have Come of Age

The dreams of our fore fathers,
Are eventually becoming reality,
The young generation,
Has unveiled their vision,
They said,
A time shall come,
When the young will rule,
The time is now,
We have come of age.

Our politics are different,
Its the people to elect,
We will not go dirty at it,
We have come to clean it,
As we put our act together,
We will bring the people together,
We will not divide and rule,
Our aim is to unite and rule,
We have come of age.

With the latest technology,
We will campaign all over the country,
Behind our computer screens,
We will confidently win,
We will track the trends,
From the palms of our hands,
Holding our simple phones,
We will soon take the throne,
We have come of age.

My Solemn Desire

Promote my two figure account balance,
To a nine figure balance,
Help me figure out,
The best region to cast out,

Give me wisdom,
To manage a billion figure kingdom,
Let me blossom,
Please lift me from the bottom,

Let me have more than enough,
For my house and for charity,
Enable me to spread your love,
With what I have,

Keep me from misery,
Clear all my debt,
Let me ressurect,
From this financial casket,

Give me warm blankets,
Those ones called wealth blessings,
Give me a house with no crickets,
A house with luxurious fittings,

Make my life comfortable,
Lay me a balanced table,
My heart desires wealth,
My body desires health,

Give me figures Oh Lord.

Oh Lord

Pastor me a sermon,
Preach out a demon,
I need a blessing,
Oh Lord, make my life interesting.

I want to praise you God,
I want a heavenly bond,
My life is so cold,
I want a warm hand to hold.

I want the Bible,
To be my guiding principle,
I will attend church service,
Oh Lord, Please save my face.

I wonna sing my praises,
Proclaiming you on diases,
I wonna sing hymns of worship,
Oh Lord, Grant me victory over the sin war ship.

Nairobiology

A very nice city,
To people upcountry,
To those living there,
Nairobi is a snare.

You will see a polite hole,
Letting clean water flow,
But it is a sewer,
Dont even go near.

A Nairobi guy will walk up to you,
Ask your directions to the blues,
The next minute you follow him,
The guy will con you thin.

A woman will display her 5 shillings tomatoes on the kerb,
Wait until a bus makes you sramble to the same kerb,
If you happen to step on the tomatoes,
They immediately become 20 shillings per tomatoes.

A Nairobi roadside seller will sell you a DVD movie,
Only to get home and watch a blank movie,
The next day you will go back to return,
He will be gone from the spot never to return.

The Nairobi busfares in the city are inconsistent,
You go one way with shs 20 and go back with shs 50,
Wait until the rain starts dropping,
The busfares automatic start rising.

Riding in a Nairobi matatu is crazier,
Loud music and a drunk conducter for an appetizer,
The pick you just where you are standing,
Wait until it comes to alighting,
You are dropped 500 meters from your destination,
Matatu crews can only be cured by assasination.

The Nairobi lady perches on the bar stool,
Just waiting for a trusting fool like you,
You buy your drink and you head for the loo,
She will spike your drink you fool!!

That is how Nairobi lives,
Everyone learns their own lesson,
Nairobi residents are all teachers,
I choose to call it NAIROBIOLOGY!

The Inevitable

Why does the mike always go off?
When you really want people to hear your word.
Why do you always meet your prospective date?
When you have your current date in your arm.
Why does the matatu splash you with paddles?
The day that you are going for the interview.

Why does the condom always burst?
When its the partner that you dont trust.
Why do you always get a puncture?
When you are headed for the best date.
Why do you always get fired?
After you have taken that bloody loan.

Why do you always lose your voice?
When you are going for a great concert.
Why does your mother always visit you?
When you are wearing that skimpy dress.
Why does the lecturer set an exam?
The day when you cant remember anything.

Why does the movie always end?
Just when she has leaned closer to you in the theatre.
Why does your mother always call?
Just when you are in the noisiest club in town.
Why does she get her red days?
Just when he had decided its time to tee to the hole.

Why does she always get pregnant?
Just a day before you announce her dismissal.
Why does her birthday and the anniversary?
Always come after paying rent and drinking the rest.
Why do your internet bundles ran out?
Just when miss perfect comes online.

Bad Mother

She did not have a choice,
To have her mother Loise,
She found herself in a home wreck,
A single mother and a moral wreck.

At 3, she was working like a teen,
All the house was hers to clean,
At 4, her mother beat her senseless,
The liquor she took made her merciless.

At 5, she started going to church,
Her mother knew nothing about church,
She called her bible the big black book,
At such a time, they had nothing to cook.

At 10, she was the highest scorer at school,
The only gift she received was at school,
Her mother knew nothing about report cards,
At her time, she was a perfect retard.

At 14, she sat for her government exam,
She wanted to be a lawyer and practice maxims,
The mother had no money for her high school,
The future had never felt so bull.

Luckily, the village chief got her a scholarship,
Her heart leapt to the clouds for the sponsorship,
She maintained her trend of excellent performance,
Her results slips gave As' in resonance.

She had vowed never to let her mother interfere,
This was until her mother got cancer,
She had to drop out of school alot more,
She had to labor for her mother's chemo.

Her mother survived the cancer,
But she was also nursing an ulcer,
She couldn't drink any longer,
It was then that her feelings got stronger.

Were it not for her daughter,
She could have been a latter,

MY WORD

Never ask how it feels,
If you dont want to hear the truth,
A mouth that is shut,
Resembles a tank that is full,
Full of wisdom waters.

Never drink a beer,
To kick away the fear,
Man up to the occasion,
You were made for a reason,
Dont spoil the mission.

Never give up,
Just take breaks,
Always move on,
Its worth holding on,
It works eventually.

The Girl You Chose

From the first day in high school,
She always made you drool,
Every time you closed your eyes,
Your wish was as clear as the blue skies,
You enjoyed the evening walk,
Love was all you could talk,
You hanged around her home,
You always had undying patient,
You braved bites from her brother's dog,
You cherished the whispers at their fence,
She was always clean and organized,
You were envied by all the village men,
You walked with your head high,
You walked in the middle of the road,
In the Village dance,
All eyes were centered on you,
You have the longest feather on your hat,
The youth respected you,
They even gave you a name,
The guy who won the heart of the princess,
Days passed by,
You never proposed,
She cracked two decades,
We were all eager,
About your wedding,
That never came,
We kept wondering,
The elders were concerned,
They visited your homestead,
You said you were working on something,
Little did we know,
That you were headed west,
I remember that evening in the village,
When word went round,
That you were leaving our land,
That you had the documents,
That they required to get on the metal bird,
Then that early morning,
You left and promised to come back,
Five years later,
Word went round again,
This time, that you were coming back,
We all thanked the clouds,
They had kept our son safe,
We knew you had made enough living,
To keep your bright date safe,
When you arrived in the village,
Aboard the big wheeled house,
You had company,
Somebody who looked like none other in the village,
We thought they gave you escort,
Where you lived abroad,
Only to learn,
That the unique visitor,
Had come to stay,
That the wedding the village waited for,
Had been done in another land,
The the daughter of our ancestors,
Was clocking a third decade,
Waiting for a hoax of a character,
She Fainted!!
Never to wake up again,
She went to get married,
In the place of the ancestors,
Look what you did,
and apeace the ancestors,
For giving them back,
THE GIRL THAT YOU CHOSE!!!

It Hurts me Papa

It hurts me papa,
When you light that cigar,
Just after I made a prayer,
That you may get delivered.

It hurts me papa,
When you drink and beat mama,
It hurts me even more,
When you come home on fours.

It hurts me papa,
When you pee on yourself,
When you fall and break the shelf,
Do you have any respect for yourself.

It hurts me papa,
Every time you smoke the weed,
You leave us with nothing to feed,
Yet you can afford that rolled thing.

It hurt me papa,
When you sold all plantain,
Then you bought cocaine,
You left us in hunger pain.

It hurts me papa,
When you sweep all the coins,
Then you buy heroine,
With our only toil.

It hurts me papa,
When you chew the Khat,
Then you kick my pet cat,
Saying that it's growing fat.

It hurts me papa,
That smoke from your cigar,
It has given you cancer,
And you still take liquor.

Its hurts me papa,
When I hear a cough from sister,
Caused by smoke from your cigar,
Soon you will give her asthma.

It hurt me Papa,
When I saw you sharing a syringe,
Knowing how much damage,
You will cause to us your lineage.

Do you know papa?
That Sharing a syringe transmits HIV?
Do you know about VCT?
Do you know your status of HIV?

It hurts me papa,
When I look at mama,
You have made her suffer,
You are the owner of the frown on mama.

It hurts me papa,
Knowing that our sister is positive,
Because you shared a syringe,
With a drug addict who was positive.

Please tell me papa,
Do you have to take drugs,
Look at all our problems,
Because you are the main problem.

It hurts me papa,
When I remember how rich you were,
Then I look at how poor we are,
Because drugs took away all we had.

It hurts me papa,
To be called son of a drug addict,
You are not welded to drugs Papa,
I guess its time you heard my verdict.

I have decided papa,
That since you don't want to change,
Mama and us kids are starting a new page,
A page without a drug addict of a papa.

Your drug addiction has cost us our dreams,
Your irresponsibility has made us peasants,
Drugs killed your job and your big dreams,
You have made our life unpleasant.

It hurts me papa,
To see you remain behind,
As we leave with mama,
To a future so blind.

Bye bye Papa,
I hope you will change,
But right now I have to leave you.
Because IT HURTS ME PAPA!!

Kudos

We saw you start,
You were always smart,
You took things serious,
You were never furious.

You finished homework,
You loved fieldwork,
You were cooperative,
Creatively operative.

After the hard work,
We wished you luck,
You braved the dark,
You never got stuck.

In those cold mornings,
We were all watching,
You went charging,
For the brain whetting.

You did the exam,
You wanted to become,
Now you have graduated,
With an honors mandated.

All we say is Kudos!!

My Sunset

I think of my days of old,
When my life will get cold,
When years will all be sold,
When my stories will be told,

When my priorities will change,
From binoculars to reading glasses,
From joy sticks to walking sticks,
From shoes to flipflops.

When I will prefer the oldies,
When I will watch others dance,
When I will exercise with a walk,
All I will manage to do is talk.

I will teach the young,
I will reminsinces the young days,
My efforts will fulfil the promise 'pays',
And I will be counting my days.

A Poet's Life

Never in a poet's life,
Has boring ever featured,
Their minds are a hive,
As ideas are manufactured.

From the styles to the rhymes,
Writing all night sometimes,
A poet enjoys a good time,
He is always at his prime.

A poet oozes inspiration,
Always open to consultation,
He is the face of globalization,
He words against marginalization.

A poets life is glamorous,
He recite in palaces,
He dines with the royals,
He is favored by the locals.

When he visits an occasion,
The papers report that he graced it,
When he hails from a humble nation,
The media reports that he fames it.

A poet is viewed in the world over,
He appears on the magazine cover,
People enjoy taking his photos,
While the rest love getting his autos.

When a poet gets a tatoo,
Every wants the same tatoo,
When a poet goes controversial,
His fans think that is social.

My Friend

To you my friend,
Good wishes i send,
You are the best,
Because you are honest,

I treasure our friendship,
A great relationship,
As we share happiness,
Ours is endless.

A shoulder to lean on,
A soul to hang on,
It feels great,
to see how well we relate.

I appreciate your support,
I enjoy your comfort,
The warmth of your smile,
Keeps me going another mile.

Mr. Driver

He wakes up early,
Hoping to make more money,
To get enough for barley,
and to save for season sunny.

When I look at Mr. Driver,
My spine feels a shiver,
Drowning in the liquor river,
He burdens his liver.

It is the same driver,
Who will work the gear lever,
Speeding by the river,
Trying to please his diva.

He loves overlapping,
He avoids time wasting,
A pro in reversing,
He knows rule breaking.

He doesn't get arrested,
Though its always expected,
He calls his van blessed,
Its owned by inspector Legend.

His aim is the money,
Commuters pay for the journey,
He uses the same money,
To please his new honey.

He says he has experience,
A ride in his van is also experience,
He keeps you in suspense,
He could end your existence.

Today the van has caused danger,
As Mr. Driver oppressed his accelerator,
This time competing for the passanger,
He rammed the van into the paper vendor.

The mess cannot be cleaned,
It's one of the etched,
He has always been warned,
Now he is going to be fetched.

Mr. Driver's case is pitiful,
The vendor's case is really sad,
Thats why its wise to drive careful,
Even when you are really mad.

The Con

He pegs his hopes,
To other people's ropes,
He has wordy tendrils,
To give his prey a thrill.

He always has a plan,
He explains until you stun,
He sees himself wise,
He forgets others are thrice.

He leaves home in a suit,
Hoping his plans bear fruit,
His business is always in conduit,
He has a passion of pursuit.

The young man is a swindle,
His hopes never dwindle,
Some days he manages to trick,
The few who make his passion tick.

He wears a wide grin,
Closer look show its a mean smile,
The smile of lips so thin,
Thats when he is high on bile.

Papers fill his bag,
Projects and strategies,
He is such a nag,
Trying to cause monetary damages.

The best remedy for him,
Always give him your ears,
But never in his waters swim,
They cause business fears.

Someone should advice him,
That he should work hard,
He should aim at the creme,
and change from a retard.

As for now,
He continues to peg hopes,
He is good at answering how,
and he maintains his hopes.

He says hardwork is a waste of time,
He this he is the smartest in this time,
Unfortunately he lives in a world of drones,
That has no space for THE CON.

Finish Your Job or Lose It

Rap! Rap! Rap!!!
I tap on the table,
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Look at that Lable,
That's quite classy,
Its getting me messy,
Focus!! Work on your desk,
Stop reading that text,
Remember, You have a deadline,
Now you feel the urine,
Oops! There's no napkins,
Things are getting pumpkin,
Shut up and work,
It going to dusk,
Forfeit the sympathy mask,
I can't help you,
See yourself through,
Oh, you gonna be late?
You had a date?
Blame your working pace,
But tidy your working space,
That's why you get paid anyway,
Figure yourself out someway,
Boss don't take no excuse,
More so when it's time misuse,
Now you are burning your fuse,
If only you could choose,
But right now it's your job to lose,
AHEM! You got an idea,
To leave everything unclear,
But that's just irresponsible,
Think of consequences possible,
That new Human resource officer,
The one that takes no teaser,
I have a shortcut,
Just cut your contract short,
You can't do that?
Just type a resignation,
It won't hurt half the nation,
Oh you have bills to pay,
You dint realize that you delay,
Today there is no mayday,
Bail yourself out of the work pit,
In short, FINISH YOUR JOB OR LOSE IT!!

Listen

Hey, you at the corner,
And you at the other corner,
This is for you,
You think I don't know you.
I dedicate this to you.

These people at the front,
Also need to chat a friend,
But they prioritize,
They get here first,
You came last,
No wonder you are behind,
No only in the seat arrangement,
But also in the program arrangement,
And also in the entertainment.

But let's get a lil' descriptive,
While you don that jacket,
It seems to cover the ears,
That's why you fold your arms,
Like you are feeling cold,
And you ignore the speaker,
Coz the ears are covered,
Next time you go shopping,
Get one that covers the mouth too.

Oh now its getting offensive?
And you just uttered that curse,
I can see your moods getting worse,
But I am not started yet,
I'm trying to get you set,
To elevate you to the level of the others,
Too bad you will have to sit behind these others,
Next time its wise not to delay at another's,
Oh did someone say that some of you are fathers?

Oh ooh, Now I am not ready for a face punch,
If its hard to swallow, the waiter sells punch,
Save your excuses like you didn't have lunch,
Or the only meal you took was a light brunch,
It's good to give every man your ears,
That way you will know the genuine dears,
It's okay now you can caress your beers,
I hope no one broke into tears,
All I wanted to say is.......LISTEN!!!

I Have To Speak

It is not because I have the right,
Not because I am upright,
Not even because I am drunk,
I may not even have a sober reason,
But I have to speak.

Take me to an asylum,
Thinking I am nuts,
You may refuse to understand,
You may muff your ears,
But I have to speak.

I will speak for the few,
As for the rest of you,
I have to dissapoint,
I know you don't get the point,
But I have to speak.

The evils in the society,
Inhumane rights everyday,
Theft, corruption and murder,
I know its not my job to utter,
But I have to speak.

Degradation of nature,
Corruption with no measure,
Moral decadence is a major,
Threaten me not to dare,
But I have to speak.

People sleep in the cold,
They have stories untold,
Parents lull their children with a scold,
Some even end up sold,
Slavery at this day and age,
Its time we turned a new page,
You can heckle and boo,
But I HAVE TO SPEAK.

Ruling This World

Eureka is the word,
After being retard,
You can now discard,
Your stupidity card,
And lift a placard,
To be the vanguard,
Yes it feels awkward,
To push truth forward,
But surely this world,
Needs someone wild,
It's not for a child,
It needs someone proud,
To pull the crowd,
To address that crowd,
To hush them down,
To own the crown,
The colorful world gown,
It's for a choosen noun,
Not any in town,
The world is like a frown,
Waiting for a clown,
But don't you play clown,
Just make it your own,
Give it a tough tone,
Have a heart of stone,
And respect will be shown,
At the break of dawn,
They will respect the don,
Pardon,
Yeah, you the don,
You will call the summon,
They will follow your sermon,
Even in times of turmoil,
When their tempers boil,
Things will never spoil,
You will be on a roll,
You will just make a call,
and back all will fall,
You must be a whirl,
Once in a while,
To hide your style,
That will keep you ahead of the pile,
By more than a mile,
You will afford a smile,
And keep the titles,
The great subtle,
Owner of the mantle.

Greased Palms

The way to get your way,
Call it greased palms,
The systems are flexed away,
By those in the realms.

I call it corruption,
The best definition,
Of evils beyond recognition,
In the elite division.

THE MYCALIAN EMANCIPATION

Mycalian Emancipation it is,
The page of my thoughts,
Where I write what it is,
That rolls in my thoughts.

When I am done with a piece,
My heart enjoys great peace,
Prisoned words released,
By the crowd received.

I might misspell,
But my readers get my point,
Just like a spell,
Nice words hit the point.

I need my silence,
When I scribble on this blog,
My online presence,
My esteemed blog.

As for my followers,
My vision is clear,
Peace to you my supporters,
We will get there.

From The Mycalian Emancipation,
Autographs I will sign,
Edition after edition,
I will publish online.

I will never tire,
Even when I sire,
It feels like a fire,
Poems flowing on wire.

And this is why,
I keep emancipating,
Its not a lie,
that the works emanating,
are really, THE MYCALIAN EMANCIPATION.

The Second

It takes only a second,
To live and the next,
Is called a dying second,
When you finish your life's text,
That dreadful moment,
To some the best second,
May bring records,
It all depends on the event.

It is in a second,
That an infant starts life,
In a second,
That a speeding car crashes,
In a second,
That the heart attack hits,
In a second,
That lightning strikes.

It is the second,
That adds up to a day,
The same second,
Constitute a lifetime,
But it is always a choice,
How to use your seconds,
The best opera voice,
Knows the value of seconds.

Melt My Heart Away

Melt my heart away,
With all the promises,
Carry my brains away,
With your sweet kisses.

Hold me like a baby,
Make me feel warm,
All night long my baibe,
Let's share the love bomb.

Hug me all over,
Caress my hair all you want,
As I touch you all over,
I will give you all you want.

Let's get inside dear,
Let's go to the fireplace,
Let's lie on the rag there,
And share our fantasy.

Let's share this strawberry,
It's as fresh as our love,
A feeling so jolly,
Like owning a white dove.

Hold my hands,
Look into my eyes,
we are lovebirds,
Sing the lullabies.

All those things,
That they do to queens,
The little things,
They show on movie screens.

Show me all those,
I am all yours today,
Hold me me close,
And melt my heart away.

The Song of Character

They say its only once,
That u can make an impression,
Not a second chance,
What an oppression.

Character they call it,
Is what comes out of you,
It is how you act,
It is what defines you.

It is better a real death,
Than a character death,
The former takes away the shame,
The second brings all the shame.

Character like a signature,
Authentic for every man,
It is the behavior parameter,
That's used on every man.

You can never borrow character,
But it could win you trust,
And with a good character,
Even the great men owe you trust.

Like a great song,
Every man should be a great singer,
Each of them a unique song,
THE SONG OF CHARACTER.

The Girlfriend of the Legend

Whipped cream cheese and burger,
To match her alluring swagger,
She pierces sharp like a dagger,
On her veggie hamburger,
She also loves the hamster,
From the time she was younger,
Blame it on her mother,
The foods she used to give her,
Watch her feed like a hog,
Chewing greedily on the hotdog,
Her heart will soon clog,
and her future will soon fog,
All the cholesterol,
She says its her petrol,
Her boy Castro,
Loves to hang at the bistro,
A jazz maestro,
Living life on a fast lane,
Watch him board a plane,
Going to grace the Octane,
A festival of the Danes,
When they chew all the cane,
She wants to go,
She gets so low,
When Castro goes solo,
She's perched her life on castro's,
The worst mistake to do,
Many big names dont mind their boo,
They travel and booze,
Then they snooze,
With a new squeeze,
The next time they have a sneeze,
Damn, they go for the quiz,
They fail the quiz,
The enjoyed conjugal bliss,
Now their candles are weak,
Just like their knees,
We'll soon bid them free,
Their souls rest in peace,
So we will wish,
They will remain legends,
but what happens to the girlfriends,
They become forgotten,
Poor Girlfriend of the legend.

Dream vs Real

It is one thing to dream,
and another to be real,
While many dream with cream,
Realities in their lives make u chill.

You could dream having bodyguards,
While in reality you guard bodies,
You could dream being a general of the cops,
While in reality, you are a walking general corpse.

A man once dreamt owning a fleet,
Reality - he was sleeping on the street,
He dreamt having his shoes wiped,
While it was a man stealing his shoes.

A dream is only healthy by night,
When you can't conduct business void of light,
But you can dream your future bright,
If only you keep the dream in sight.

Nature

At times the sun is too hot,
But we never do anything about it,
If man was asked,
He would want to have control over it,
Maybe push it away,
Maybe bury it underground,
or even be able to live on top of it.

When the rain is too much,
Man's wish would be to stop it,
To close the tap and seize it,
To save his crop from the flood,
A vision so blurred,
That's what many men have,
Wishes so irrational.

God has given you hands,
Use them to build a big roof,
To protect yourself from the sun,
You also have a brain,
To work out solutions,
Toy with options.

Never oppose nature,
You are one of the creatures,
Also part of nature,
Never fight nature,
It's like a kid fighting the mother,
Your abilities have a measure,
Dont wait for the seizure.

Dont be the failure,
By challenging nature,
Thank the maker,
For its tough nature,
Always appreciate nature,
Even when it causes disaster,
Because It is nature.

NO LIMITS

I am Dimitri,
The man without a limit,
To no evils do I submit,
Only good do I commit.

Check out my big biceps,
Im better just accept,
Now you show interest,
In my wise brain concepts.

I get the contracts,
I present with a passion,
I have great contacts,
They love my version.

I go mounting climbing,
And I enjoy sea surfing,
Get me Bunjee jumping,
Or in cars rallying.

I date the best,
I flirt with the hottest,
I take home the flyest,
I pass all their tests.

I drive a super model,
My singing is no yodel,
I am a pro in snooker,
I got huge stakes in poker.

I have NO LIMITS!

THE HOPE THAT KILLS

Morning hope, gimme your hand again,
Every morning I hold onto you Like I'm insane,
How did I even know about you?
Why do I think that I need you?

Many questions linger in my mind about hope,
It enslaves man just like dope,
You need it when you are hanging on a rope,
Or when walking on ground slippery like soap.

I wonder if spiders hold onto you,
You deserve to be flashed down the loo,
More so the false side of you,
That leaves men without any clue.

Hope, you are so invisible,
Common among the gullible,
If only men are sensible,
If only you were visible.

THE BAD

Some stuff is bad,
It makes us sad,
These we should shun,
We should always run,

~~~~~~~THE END.
The Lord
So patient he is with us,
The Supreme in His own class,
with him everything is a plus,
the father of the mass,
Many times we forget him,
the creator we assume,
until we exhume
the only savior from doom
Our lord we love you,
For help and guidance we look to you,
even for the shoe we ask you,
and we are nothing without you
Its you we glorify and honor,
You save us from the sins that devour,
A true redeemer you are,
I will worship you forever.
The Small Carriers of Iniquity
So young and innocent
Brains like crescents
Only thinking of the present
Unknowingly they will resent
Walking on the streets
Where they act skits
Throwing people in pits
To other causing fits
Armed to the fist
In case you resist
Their wrath you can’t desist
You have to eat their feast
The neighborhood knows
And no one scolds
Deep within the folds
The boys are like toads
Jumping and hitting
Mugging and strangling
Squeezing and frisking
Pissing and dissing
They forget the fate
And the way they will waste
Their sins are like paste
Forever at their waist
Their day is coming
When justice won’t be soothing
And the payment will be sizzling
But to the victims smoothing
The Diva
The allure of the diva
With high heels she will slither
and the looks never wither
every dawn makes her better
to all a pacesetter
The voice is decisive
and when angry abusive
she has to hold her niche
and she is too hard to fish
You never hear her joke
and so you cant poke
a look at her cloth
you conclude from the north
Don forget the fashion sense
and the perfume like incense
she drives at her pace
but don try to chase
a diva and an intellect
This life full of souls
Some souls to keep,
Some souls too cheap,
Some we see in our sleep,
Some we always want to beep.
The body made of a good soul,
will never act a foul,
these we wish we stole,
and held tight lest they crawl,
At times our souls are hurt,
and to forgive is not in the heart,
it feels like a heaven shut,
by someone who once flirt
the soul goes, we die,
the topic that makes shy,
and others ask why
but with hope we face the sky
and know we have the soul.
AS PREDICTABLE AS A KENYAN ON VALS
Ushering in the mood of lovers, valentine,
an increase in the sales of red wine,
a hurry that doesn't consider the vine,
but aiming at avoiding the female whine,
flowers will be welcomed as they shine,
the rendezvous will be honored as a shrine,
most of them under the pine,
all in the name of getting a day, fine.
A day full of picks and drops,
uncountable champagne pops,
parties with no stops,
the night, a harvest for the cops,
booming sales for the shops,
the fryers busy with the corn pops,
and the butchers will be all day chops,
don't forget the after hospital visits for dopes,
Oh my love, I love you, I'm all yours,
many statements of love, the choice is yours,
a time to forget the fears,
many will say with cheers,
wonders are how many will mean it,
since most will instantly forget it.
The Make Up
It feels so sweet,
realizing there was no cheat,
that love had just faded,
or rather hibernated,
then it springs again,
this time with strength not pain,
the sweet memories flowing,
along with the affection growing,
a feeling i would die to experience,
could only call it a love sentence
The Fruit of Love
When it starts, its just like a fruit,
The flower buds by noticing that you suit,
There has to be days of calling and text,
The same period the flower bud waits for stage next,
The dates and and every sweet moment,
Like the flower slowly opens starting to scent,
The liking grows into liking,
Just like the flower petals get coloring,
The couple visits each other,
Just like the insects visit the flower,
Thats when the couple realize they are in love,
Like the flower needs the insect for pollen to move,
A minute without each other becomes missing,
Just like a day without an insect visits stops pollinating,
The feelings now come from the bottom of the heart,
Like the nectar collects at the bottom of the flower,
The lovers get used to each other,
Like the petals get used to the sun and start process wither,
They sleep holding each other close,
Like the petals fold close,
In the process they create a womb fruit,
Like the flowers form a true fruit,
Another waiting for the womb fruit to grow,
Like the waiting for the fruit to grow,
Like the child is born,
So is the fruit harvest done,
While we wait for the Child to mature,
We wait for the fruit to ripen,
Too bad Auntie brings the fruit as a present for the baby,
The baby eats the fruit,
Same way that life bites on itself,
Blame it on the Law of nature or Auntie?
YOU ARE PRICELESS
I lack the vocabularies,
To express my feelings,
So deep is not enough,
I can't call it tough.
I owe you so much,
I feel it in your touch,
I couldn't exchange you,
I will do anything for you.
I can't tag a price on you,
That's how much I treasure you,
It is you who is worth my love,
You are the only reason that I love.
I know I had a choice,
But I cant make any noise,
I know I chose the best,
I dont care about the rest.
I yearn for the day we will meet,
I will organize a welcome so fit,
I will make sure I wash your feet,
That will be a tip of a treat.
I think about you when I sleep,
I hate it when I see you weep,
Wipe your tears your love is safe,
I can't auction our love in any cafe.
I know you weep because you miss me,
I feel you shudder when you kiss me,
How I wish I could hold you all night,
To make you feel my love so tight.
Many have asked if I can exchange you,
They offer diamonds and gold to have you,
I consider all those offers useless,
Because to me, YOU ARE PRICELESS!
MY NEW JOB
Today I got a call,
A talk so small,
But twas a call of hope,
Like one from the pope,
I leapt with joy,
Like a baby boy,
Finally I was appointed,
For the job I pointed,
Now my life will change,
I will start a new page,
Talk of a salary range,
And a suit, color beige,
Deadlines and reports,
Systems and supports,
My new language,
I have come of age,
Meet me at the office,
Serving the time of novice,
Now im on the runway,
Like a plane, pave way,
I will achieve my dreams,
With my income stream,
I will live my life,
I will marry a wife,
I will buy a car,
And become a star,
Then drink at Bob's,
For MY NEW JOB.
LIVE WELL
Shed some light.
Make it bright,
Never fight,
Do right,
Keep tight,
Have an insight,
Dont bite,
Before sight,
Never quit,
Before sweet,
Even wheat,
Is sweet,
After sweat,
Not when wet.
Give a smile,
For a mile,
It's worthwhile,
Paste a tile,
On angry bile,
The happiness tile,
Be mild,
Not wild,
Be love bound,
Always applaud,
Travel the world,
Enjoy the wild,
Be proud,
All year round.
COURTESY OF YOU
When you pass,
You alter my pulse,
As moments pass,
I wont fuss,
I know what I feel,
A feeling so real,
I know the deal,
Wont mind the bill,
For you I will pay,
This feeling to stray,
And intercept your way,
My strategy I lay,
Until next may,
As you pass by the hay,
I will make your day,
If only I may,
Make you come and stay,
I will be the happiest,
My song the longest,
A poem the sweetest,
For you my dearest,
I will smile and shed,
Tears of joy like Obed,
As i lay on my bed,
and watch you thread,
My dream will have come true,
COURTESY OF YOU!
MY SECRET
I cant tell,
I cant sell,
You cant smell,
There's no shell,
No ringing bells,
No flowing wells,
It's my secret.
Yes I did,
What I did,
It's now vivid,
But dont bid,
I'm not timid,
I have a creed,
It's my secret.
You wont know,
They cannot know,
I know,
No one knows,
Let them know,
They won't know,
It's my secret.
It's at heart,
No one was hurt,
From the start,
under the hut,
I wore a hat,
To hide the heart,
It's my secret.
Now I leave,
In the crowds I weave,
I'm on leave,
No marks to leave,
Just a life to live,
and that I will live,
It's MY SECRET.
THE GREAT VUVUZELA
Vuvuzela vuvuzela,
You are so african vuvuzela,
Look at my sister stella,
Blowing you away vuvuzela,
They call you the controversial vuvuzela,
Some dont want you vuvuzela,
But we Africans love your sound vuvuzela.
Though some dont like your sound,
They say you are too loud,
You are the famous one among the crowds,
You are the only similarity of both crowds,
You will be in the winning team,
The other will win next time,
But right now its your time.
Sound to your glory vuvuzela,
Everyone wants a vuvuzela,
It shows I have been to Africa,
You are blown even in America,
The most famous horn in Africa,
From the sahara of North Africa,
To capetown in South Africa,
YOU RULE VUVUZELA.
IS LIFE SWEET
All the mess,
that people confess,
they transgress,
get depressed,
and they forget,
their budgets,
their targets,
then the regrets,
many like leaflets,
problems in triplets,
is what they reflect.
They become rejects,
losing projects,
they start going down,
all day with frowns,
wishing they could drown,
their graves so brown,
death becomes their crown,
to the soil so brown.
Yet we ask, is life sweet?
Another so fat,
dressed so smart,
the face of the rich,
the elite of the greenwich,
they smell like dollars,
they are the highrollers,
living like ballers,
scooping all the dollars,
they cant understand,
the poor brand,
dint they have dads,
or were they bad?
They buy anything,
sell something,
own everything,
give somethings,
making more and more,
enjoying the more,
like they deserve more
Yet we ask, is life sweet?
The average man,
a healthy human,
but never gets the chance,
he is always on freelance,
his is endurance,
he watches the others,
but feels better than others,
he can afford some,
thanks to his income,
he views the world,
as a fair world,
his is hope,
to join the rope,
at least he can cope,
He also dreams,
of a future that beams,
he has a smile,
and holds his bile,
him and his wife,
They also wonder, if life is sweet.
MATTERS OF THE HEART
Mmmmm that lovely car,
oooh yeah I love cars,
One day I will have them all,
When my efforts will stand tall,
No worry, Im still working,
They call it earning a living,
Im thinking the routine is wearing,
I'd rather be traveliing,
Or even writing a verse,
Because this life has no reverse.
Things that make my heart skip a beat,
The vision of the throne, the seat,
When I rise to my potential,
Why not the presidential,
Im already a president,
Because my heart is decent,
But I need to help a number,
Those who languish and suffer,
They need to enjoy the heritage,
Not to live at home like a hostage.
Rights I will uphold,
Throughout the land behold,
I will make the homeless feel loved,
I will unite our country for the beloved,
In the hills and valleys I will ensure,
That justice is served to the sure,
I will be a maker of cinderella stories,
The papers would saturate with help stories,
Take it step by step my heart,
Hold those matters at heart.
ONE FOR MY LOVE
This one is for you my love,
My love you totally deserve,
The warmth you give my heart,
I cannot desert,
I will love you too,
Because this feeling is true,
I like your fragrance,
It sends a signal of deliverance,
My deliverance from bachelorhood,
The greatest wish of my childhood,
Thats why I'll treasure you,
Let us make this feeling true,
Your voice so sweet,
It makes my heart skip a beat,
In the glass of love I sip,
While the feeling sinks dip,
Let me hold your hand,
make me feel like a dad.
Your soft skin glitters,
Better than any gold glitters,
You have all the features,
Approved by all love teachers,
And right at this moment,
I want your love torments,
Let me absorb you in my arms,
As we chew these sweet plums,
Kiss me with your red lips,
Let me feel the juicy sips,
As the birds chirp,
Im falling in this love dip.
IM NOT LONELY, IM FREE
On this blog, I let my thoughts roam freely,
Here I have the freedom to write freely,
About anything that I feel needs my light,
Of the girls of the twilight,
How they shine under the streetlight,
Of the huge man who boxed my friend at the club,
A big fight for a cigar stub,
Of the guy who cried at the casino table,
He thought that the money could always double,
The lady in a short skirt at the mall,
She was feeling cold while she exposed it all,
The drunkard who was swept away by the flood,
He took more beer than his blood,
The guy who won the lottery,
He never took time to plan properly,
He is back to the life of hand to mouth,
Life really favors direction south,
On this blog, I muse and scribble,
I engrave my thoughts while on my nails I nibble,
I release the words that pressure my mind,
Like a catchment, they flow out and bind,
Being alone on this blog does not feel misty,
It brings the feeling every poet treasures, tranquility,
Away from life's hard struggles,
Here its all about word juggles,
Poetry my darling art that doesnt need a brush,
All these words come in a flash,
But I enjoy the lone moments while they last,
Because I can see this blog at last,
Too many people reading the Mycalian Emancipation,
Everyday coming back with anticipation,
That they too will enjoy the great gift of nature,
Poetry and a free blog to mature,
Like old wine, old poems only sweeter,
No tongues to taste if they are bitter,
People taste with their minds and shudder,
The words that make men wonder,
As for now, I enjoy the free space,
So dont classify me in the lonely race,
Im just taking it at a poet's pace,
Like a florist natures the bud in a vase,
Its the best feeling for no fee,
Thus i'm not lonely, im free!!
THE BRAIN
Your brain certainly is the most powerful organ,
Could sound like another of the useless slogans,
Until you contemplate and visualize its effects,
The functioning that generates the intellect,
The origin of every body function select,
The neurons and stimuli it directs,
How useless you become when it defects,
All that power within the skull protect.
The main separator of the boys from the men,
So much valued while choosing business acumen,
The reason why there are peasant servants and arrogant bosses,
Depends on how the brains of either supposes,
Deep thought or a dont care attitude,
The determiner of who gets the multitudes,
Presidents are made of brains,
Thats how the come up with winner campaigns.
That computer geek who drives a sleek,
Did not attend class for a week,
He sharpened his brains to level freak,
Thats why he earns from the power of click,
The surgeon who is so rich,
Had to invest in the brain for the sake of his wish,
Brains you need even while catching fish,
They determine even the products in your dish.
THE CAR CRASH
Vroooom! Screeech! Veeer! Kaboom! Skiiiid!
That was how i survived it.
The doomed crash that got my car into a pit,
A pit of the forgotten and and unfit,
Unfit until it could not even move,
Move was an action that could only have been realized with a shove.
But I am glad I was not hurt,
I was too young to depart,
But people have always survived,
And in that case the Almighty revived.
I thank the Lord My God,
All praises and honor to God,
He knows me amongst his greeat fold,
He sees me through the untold.
THE JUNIOR OFFICER
They call me the junior officer,
Say that my duty is to come and pester,
Always the one who is sent to clear,
They assume that I do not fear,
But the fact remains, I am the one to fear,
My potential is too great to bear,
Though im junior both in rank and year,
I have an ambition so dear,
At times I want to get bitter,
But the thought of my future makes me feel better,
I know I will live happily forever,
When a cut in the salary will not matter,
All my foes and worries will be a scatter,
In the mean time I continue to deliver,
Doing the walk of my suffer,
All in the name of earning supper,
Hey, hold on one bit,
All the seniors will so be of their seats,
That means I will soon be incharge of the feast,
With the seriousness of clenched fists,
I am braced for my promotion so sweet,
Then, the thought of cars will be in fleets,
Thats why I am not going to quit,
I have to stay until I join the big beasts.
MY QUAGMIRE
Is a chicken that manages to cross the road unhurt considered wise?
Do the odds really count when you are throwing the dice?
Could there be another undiscovered method of cooking rice?
Can a human be referred to as a biological device?
and is the walk of life just but one big enterprise?
What if we completely did away with dressing?
Which would mean we are free of 15% of shopping?
What if we all agreed to lower our standards of living?
Which would eliminate 20% of complex mental suffering?
Can humans ever give up on caring?
Is a world without boundaries so hard to imagine?
Who even invented businesses and a profit margin?
Can humans ever stop worrying about the feeling of chagrin?
Is it true that there was a time when most of the world was a virgin?
Is it true that half of the world would be wiped out without nicotine?
THE TREE THAT I LOVE
Hurry, hurry, I have to catch the bus,
Today, I am not going to drown the glass,
All I need is to sit on the lush grass,
The feeling of leaning on its barks,
It feels like leaning on the shoulder of a loved one,
I like calling it Allan,
The leaves on it look like a turban,
In my compound it looks like a tubman,
Rising high above all the other trees,
The consant swarming, its also a home for bees,
The source of my evening glee,
It welcomes me by shedding a courtesy leaf on me,
as i sit in its shade,
its sooths the cuts of life's blade,
do people realize why trees were made,
the only sincere source of life escapades,
and this one right here above me,
a darling tree that injects me with peace,
Oh how I love this tree.
SALTY SUGARY LIFE
Which is which? At times I ponder,
Occurences in life, u cant help but wonder,
Up and down they thrust you, even off the radar,
The thought of the good times, making you shudder,
Thinking of the bad times, making you grow older.
Today you sleep hungry, you sulk and curse,
Tomorrow the pay check comes, you drink even worse,
U just realize after the joke, that it was time to get serious,
But when times are hard, u just die for the bonus,
Life gets unfair, following you to the carcass.
Nutter, I dispute and break free,
Whatever it wants to, let it be,
I wont consider, even the fee,
Its time I came for you, damn shopping spree,
When bad times come, we will agree,
Worrying if the ends will meet, irrelavance,
Living for today, extravagance,
How about a cent a day? freelance?
and if I plan to the coin? Stagnance?
Does it really matter anyway? Even that has a name?....Ignorance?
Why does life wait till its sweet only to cut the feeling short?
Why do we get it when we need it least? Support
What is that in my mouth that I scooped last from the sugar dish? salt?
Why do we have to work all this for assets? comfort?
Is it really worth worrying about life? Support or contort.
