Don't Soil Yourself, Woman

From the beginning,
Eve was chosen to be man's company,
Sarah was a helper,
Of the most blessed man Abraham,
Esther saved her race,
Mary gave birth to Jesus,
All these women,
Bore seeds of greatness.

Lot's wife defied,
She solidified,
Delilah got Samson Lured,
She triggered destruction,
God blesses a woman,
Who heeds his word,
Women who want greatness,
Learn from the word.

Don't Soil Yourself, Woman

The Sandwich Generation

The elite of the nation,
The recent conception,
The men to steer the nation,
The prime age of creation.

They have a vision,
Each in their profession,
To bridge the poverty division,
To steer the nation to fruition.

They lead congregations,
Regardless of the religions,
They have a mission,
Project development and completion.

They make rational decisions,
They have learned from the past,
They are the people to trust,
For the first world thrust.

Very humble and focused,
The young and aged are their dependants,
They know success is constant,
Because they always work hard.

It's time for The Sandwich Generation!

Words of Wisdom

Keep your doors open,
Opportunities won't have to knock,
Life is a beast,
Look for the beauty within.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Has been lying all this while,
Never jump into a sea of conclusion,
Swim by the shores until you collect enough shells of fact.

Emptiness is Form, Emptiness is Form.

Emptiness is form,
When life gets hopeless,
Many get senseless,
But that is the time,
To make juice from lime,
Surviving in nothingness,
Proves that emptiness,
Gives the best form.

Form is emptiness,
When you are clueless,
Rich and senseless,
You never have time,
When you have the form,
You have everything,
Then you lose everything,
and back to Emptiness.

Thus:

Emptiness is form and form is emptiness.

I Think I am in Love

All this twitching,
Wishful thinking,
Day dreaming,
Reminiscing,
My feelings,
My breathing,
My pacing,
Blood rushing.

My pulse is high,
My wish is sly,
My mouth dry,
My eyes cry,
Days go by,
You don't come by,
I wonder why,
Why lie?

I think,
I am weak,
I tick,
When you speak,
I freak,
Come quick,
We link,
I think,
I'm in Love!

The Love Epitaph

I can recall with a smile,
How they started out well,
Coffee dates and night outs,
The signs of love sprouts,
I attended their wedding,
Good life was just starting.

A year later,
Issues proved greater,
Than the love between them,
What had come over them?
Bad breath and affairs for the man,
Gossip and dirt for the woman.

Two years later,
It was all clear,
A decade wouldn't be over,
While they were still together,
The man was fed up,
The woman was fired up.

The woman leaked his secret,
That he made the bed wet,
The man found her red handed,
With another man in bed,
They decided to leave it at that,
Life finally put them apart.

The third year was a start,
Of living life apart,
He decided to write a book,
She also wrote a book,
Dedicated to the love they had,
They described how it went bad.

Different publishers,
Different editors,
The man finished first,
The woman was always last,
They launched on the same day,
Both books bore the title, THE LOVE EPITAPH!

The Drunken Policeman

His favorite name is--Hic,
His mother called him--Vic,
At work he is Corporal--Vic,
A number of things make him sick,
First, he thinks his wife is thick,
Second, The inspector calls him a prick,
Why don't the two ever think?
He thinks.

He works for the traffic department,
He can always sneak to the bar segment,
Too much has changed his skin pigment,
What he knows best is bad treatment,
He will issue tickets with excitement,
I wonder if he will stand his punishment,
When a victim will tell the graft department,
Will he attend his hearing with excitement?

In the evening he boasts the pub down,
None but him holds the imbibing crown,
He sits on the bar stool throne,
He can drink up to dawn,
He turns all the alcohol stones,
His jalopy of a car hits all stones,
He says it knows its way home,
From the look of things,
Both the car and the owner are on the way home,
His epitaph will be his last crown,
How about, THE DRUNKEN POLICEMAN!!

Wedding Festival

Wedding Bells,
Bigger than jingle bells,
Nice fragrance and smells,
The nice background music tells,
Two have just exchanged bands,
They have stopped being love birds,
Now they are husband and wife.

The sunlit air and the floral decoration,
The great cake with its colorful decoration,
The pretty maids and their beautiful dresses,
The beautiful women and their musical dances,
The great crowd with all the happy faces,
The bridal gown and the expensive laces,
What more could a man ask for?

Call it the wedding festival,
Where else did they come with so many cars?
Where else did we experience such hospitality?
Where else did we eat so much rice?
Hail all and salute the just married,
We are all happy and overjoyed,
For your great WEDDING FESTIVAL.

Congratulations!!

On Her Wedding Day

If its turquoise, please let it be,
If its royal Fuchsia, let it be,
It is her biggest day after her birthday,
It's the least you can do on her wedding day,
Making it perfect is a commandment,
She is the base of your home establishment,
The prime member of the marriage coalition,
The commissioner of the home division,
The chief of your house location.

She gives your home an identity,
Soon she will show you the power of multiply,
Many say that men don't cry,
What they don't say is that we would like to cry,
But we have to get the right shoulder,
Then we can cry a river,
Mrs. bride, the ball is on your court,
Start by relieving off his coat,
Finish by serving a great pot.

For the gentleman,
A reason to get home early,
A reason to hold the head high,
A reason to carry your shoulders high,
From that corner to that other corner,
We have been your guests today,
You have treated us to satisfaction,
We have all witnessed,
You have done it perfect.
On Her Wedding Day!

Congratulations!!

Call Me Now

It was only yesterday,
We lay on the hay,
I was loving your spray,
I enjoyed all the play,
I dint want to get home,
But eventually the time came,
You said you will call,
You said you could see my heart,
Even when we were distant,
I knew you would be calling,
I held onto my phone waiting,
Minute after minute, counting,
On my forehead, I was sweating,
On my armrest, I was tapping,
The anxiety of a hen,
Before it lays an egg.

Mid-morning and nothing yet,
My shirt is getting wet,
My anxiety comes with profuse sweat,
My handkerchief is also wet,
I just hope you did not lie,
If you don't call I'm going to die,
But what is taking you so long,
I want to have someone to belong,
Time is running out fast,
You are slowly loosing my trust,
Soon it will be noon,
I have decided to go online,
I am starting to whine,
My patience is very thin,
Now my feelings are on the line,
Don't you think it is time?

Noon came and went,
And not even a text,
I am wondering what next,
Or should I text,
I don't wanna look desperate,
Options are infinite,
But none is right,
I have lost appetite,
I can't do anything right,
A cigar is all I can light,
Even a line I can't write,
Evening is drawing closer,
Reality is getting clearer,
I am seeing a liar,
What do I do now?
If you can really see my heart, CALL ME NOW!!!

My Love Exploit

It's another dawn,
My heart is fearful,
My face is a frown,
My body is painful,
It's about last night,
You came home drunk,
You switched of the lights,
Then you started the spunk,
You called me useless,
Then you beat me senseless.

Now its morning,
I wake up wailing,
I can't stay longer,
I am getting weaker,
I am growing thinner,
I can't let you kill me,
God has plans for me,
You don't deserve me,
I can tell from the way you treat me.

You beat me everyday,
Same script different day,
I married a bully,
I don't deserve pity,
I am filled with fury,
I have to leave today,
I have had enough,
Let all my friends laugh,
I have a life to live,
Now i know this was not love,
It was a love exploit!!

Ulevi

Chupa ya pombe ifunike,
Ladha ya pombe isiishe,
Ukiitisha nyingine itingishe,
Ukiifungua itoe mvuke.

Ulevi una mawaidha,
Lakini wanyonga fedha,
Ulevi unazo fedheha,
Kama za baba kujikojolea.

Ulevi hauna heshima,
Mtoto hunywa na baba,
Wanatumia meza moja,
Waskie wakitusiana.

Ulevi utamu wa raha,
Ukizidi wakuwa karaha,
Ukijibebea wako kahaba,
Atakupora si haba.

Ulevi si wa madereva,
Isipokuwa wasoskia,
Wale kawaida hufa,
Sisi tutawazika tu!

International Love

My Kenyan love,
I have an international dream for you,
My love for you is wider than from Nairobi to Belarus,
In my heart I have more love than a European,
Don't mind the fact that I am all African,
For you I will speak all the romantic Italian,
I will even hit the standards of the Roman,
Talk of an evening dinner like that of the French,
Lacing it with wine from a cellar in Paris,
Food cooked by a chef from Rome.

If you become my one and only,
Our first destination will be Milan in Italy,
Then we could take a vacation to guinea,
Think of the two of us walking in the coast of Azerbaijan,
For you I will be brave enough to go to Afghanistan,
We can go for our honeymoon somewhere in Uzbekistan,
I will take you to the rice fields of Pakistan,
On our way home we could pass by Bujumbura,
We could go for some DJ festival in antananarivo.

Not forgetting our great motherland,
Every weekend we could do road trips to places like turkana,
Sagana and kirinyaga would be good hideouts en-route Mt. Kenya,
From the mountain to the shimba hills in taita then to lake elementaita,
From samburu to nakuru, uasin gishu to chepalungu,
From namanga to malaba, from busia to garissa, and at times to Tanzania.
My international love, let me make your life a roller coaster.

Will you be mine?

Midnight Gaze

My most recent blessing,
Has confused my brain cells,
Now I gaze at the ceiling,
A tear in my eye wells.

Tears of joy are now often,
I can no longer hide my emotions,
When she sneezes I stiffen,
I am conscious of all her motion.

A fruit of my pleasure,
A score of my love,
For me and my dear,
From God with love.

Our daughter Patricia,
An awesome bundle of amazement,
So tiny and tender,
The reason of my excitement.

I want to protect her always,
I want to watch her all the nights,
Fight away mosquito that disturbs her peace,
Ensure that tomorrow gets her in one piece.

At night she gets me insomniac,
She is my all time Craze,
I will be soon celebrating with cognac,
A toast to the cause of my MIDNIGHT GAZE.

Breast Cancer

He was out for pleasure,
Sexual as it could have been,
They had kissed like never,
Now he was jumping into the obscene.

He slid his arm into her blouse,
He cupped the warm breast,
The feeling did not arouse,
He immediately knew that she needed a test.

The lump was as that of his patient,
Some careers just follow you to your personal life,
Why was medical practice so prudent?
He did not want to break the heart of a young life.

But he was as sure as death,
The lump was that of breast cancer,
He couldn't tell Beth,
The thought gave him an ulcer.

He managed to convince her,
To go to the hospital the following day,
She thought it was a fever,
After all her boyfriend her offered to pay.

Her face was green with fear,
She never thought she could get breast cancer,
She couldn't hear what the doctor said next,
She felt she was the one to die next.

She had ignored all the scan campaigns,
Ignorance paid her back with all these pains,
Had she gone for the scan earlier,
Her breast couldn't have left her.

Six months down the line,
She can afford a smile,
And thank God for a treatment gone fine,
Make sure you too maintain your smile.

Go for a breast cancer scan.

The Connection

You are seated,
Right in-front of me,
When you passed my desk,
I couldn't help but notice,
The smell of your expensive perfume,
It made my nostrils open wider,
Your long skirt,
Brushed my arm as you passed,
I can still feel the brush,
Of the soft linen.

Now you turn back,
Your eyes meet with mine,
My heart skips a beat,
My bladder feels full,
This is the fourth time
That you got me staring,
Your nice hair style,
I can't help but fantasize,
My fingers brushing it down,
I can see you smile.

The whole of this week,
Has been like this,
You look back,
Our eyes meet,
You smile again,
I lose focus,
But after class,
you are the first to leave,
Lets make this happen,
Before I'm taken by another!!

The Kiss

It is your kiss,
That leaves me breathless,
It makes me stammer,
It makes me see the light,
Even when it's pitch dark,
It makes me smile,
When I am all alone,
Remembering that kiss,
Makes my body shiver,
My spine shudders,
At the thought,
Of your kiss.

Your lips so soft,
Awesome piece of creation,
Your brilliant face,
Feels like gold in my arms,
As I cuddle your cheeks,
Bringing you closer,
As our noses touch,
My heart leaps,
I close my eyes,
I fear I might go blind,
If I watch the trailer,
Of me kissing an angel,
As our lips touch,
My spirits stir,
Pressing our lips together,
I can't hold my feet together,
I lift one foot high,
To rhyme the climax,
Of our great kiss,
As your lips open,
Welcoming my confused tongue,
It feels like I am entering,
The gates of heaven,
Your saliva,
Sweeter than fine wine,
Your warm mouth,
Makes my mind wander,
I can't tell how long,
My tongue remains jailed,
In the sweetness of your mouth,
If I had a chance,
I'd drown your salivary glands,
And never get quenched,
From my thirst for your love.

Now our lips part,
I can no longer focus,
It's like you cast a spell,
On me to love you forever,
I can just smile,
And mumble nothing,
I am left wishing,
That I could kiss you longer,
My heart beats hard,
Deep down,
A feeling of desire,
A want for more,
I Just adore,
Kissing you my miss.

My love epistle

It is because of you my love,
That I disturb my quill,
Moving it back and forth,
Till I finish writing,
This great epistle,
Just my quill and paper,
To tell you how much,
I value you my dear one.

The quill oozes black,
But my love is all white,
Pure and flawless,
Like snow on the mountains,
What i feel for you,
My quill can only peck,
To tell the whole of it,
I would use more words,
Than the drops of the ocean.

I reminisce that kiss,
You gave me that night,
With the music of the crickets,
Dew settled on our feet,
Cold was not a worry,
The problem was your departure,
Since you left for the city,
I haven't heard from you,
I hope you still love me.

THE OCTOBER MONTH

OCT is great. That's why great creatures have 8 features. Octopuses are impeccable in locomotion and behavior. Don't mention Paul the German Octopussy Prophet. In this Octy month, I have decided to write poems on soul searching issues. I will also shed light on national issues like hunger. It is sad that a woman in our country slaughtered a dog for her children while there was relief food in her village with a controversy of the right person to distribute.

Octy holds great significance to me. It is a prosperous month and it is the month that I bought my first car. I have also decided to change my name to Mr. Reality Check. I love you all. :)

Reality Check

It is the sweet tooth that becomes a pain,
It is the white dress that gets the stain,

It is always the government to blame,
But it is always the people to bear shame,
In a world of excuses so lame,
Who is to blame?

While citizens look upon governments,
Governments look upon international donors,
The people still die due to hunger,
Its time we realized why we suffer,
We cant solve problems by blaming each other,
But we can be keepers of our brothers.
