Tears and Smiles

These tears,
These tears that well my eyes,
These tears that flow when I cry,
These tears that I shed when I am angry,
These tears that are triggered by my agony,
These tears that I shed every day,
These tears will dry one day,
These tears will be no more,
These tears will be replaced by a smile.

A smile,
A smile that will be a sign of joy,
A smile that will end my cry,
A smile that will carry away my agony,
A smile that will be on my face every day,
A smile will be on my face one day,
A smile will be all I afford and more,
A smile it will be forever.
